REASONS MEN WON'T TRAVEL WITH A NIGERIAN WOMAN

Found this interesting and worthy to be shared.

"Travel is fun. It is even more thrilling and pleasurable when you travel with your girlfriend. She is your perfect companion throughout the trip. It is never a dull moment and you get to spend time together.

However, there are lots of baggages that come with junketing with a woman notwithstanding if she is your wife, mother, girlfriend or side chic. This is why some men hate to travel with them due to these shenanigans. No offense dear female folks! Jumia Travel gathers some of these reasons. Despite this, we are very sure that these men love their women.

They take hours to dress up

Men have complained bitterly about the minutes or hours some women take to dress up. Meanwhile, you are already running very late to catch your flight. Most times, reason women give is that they want to look good for their man. Of course, they always expect men to be patient and wait for them.

They will always over pack

A man will only have a single box and he is good to go for a year. But with a woman, they will have several boxes because they always pack everything they need. Even if you are taking a flight, they are not perturbed about the extra charges. You have to pay. And please, don’t try to stop them if you don’t want ‘trouble’!

They are likely to forget something

After all the over packing, you will be shocked that they will still forget something. For example, they may forget to book a hotel, ATM cards, and even their phones. This is part reason why some men prefer to plan the entire trip themselves.

Impulse buying

Very few women will see a beautiful bag, cloth, necklace or shoe and not be interested in buying. They will drag you to that store and ensure that they purchase it. By the way, you don’t have to worry about settling the bills. They will do that themselves. Again, patience!

You don’t want to be present when they haggle

Haaaaa…have you ever seen a woman haggle? You don’t want to be present. How much is this? Madam it's 5,000. 5,000…ke? Let me pay 3,000? Ok. Madam bring your money. Looks at the cloth for several minutes. This is not worth 3,000. Let me pay 1,500… SMH! 😍"

Nigerian University finds cure for HIV/AIDS

Abuja - The Vice Chancellor of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Professor Francis Otunta, has announced the discovery of a drug which he claims is potent to cure HIV/AIDS, Naij reports.

Otunta told newsmen at the university campus on Wednesday, February 1, that the finding followed years of scientific research by the institution.

He said that the breakthrough was made by Prof Maduike Ezeibe, a researcher in the university.

According to him, Ezeibe had presented the drug to the University management, Senate and Council, where he explained the processes he went through to arrive at his finding.

The VC also said that Ezeibe had equally presented the drug to his colleagues in the medical field and nobody had contradicted his finding.

He said that the medicine had been used to potentiate Ampicilin, Chloroquine, Piperazine and Sulphadimidin, among others, and could be a major foreign exchange earner for Nigeria, if approved by relevant authorities.

According to him, “local and international medical companies will find the product as a veritable raw material”.

Ezeibe said that he presented the research findings to the World Virology Conference in Atlanta in 2015, and Antonio (Texas) in 2016.

Trump Pushes Dark View of Islam to Center of U.S. Policy-Making

WASHINGTON — It was at a campaign rally in August that President Trump most fully unveiled the dark vision of an America under siege by “radical Islam” that is now radically reshaping the policies of the United States.

On a stage lined with American flags in Youngstown, Ohio, Mr. Trump, who months before had called for a “total and complete shutdown” of Muslim immigration, argued that the United States faced a threat on par with the greatest evils of the 20th century.

The Islamic State was brutalizing the Middle East, and Muslim immigrants in the West were killing innocents at nightclubs, offices and churches, he said. Extreme measures were needed.

“The hateful ideology of radical Islam,” he told supporters, must not be “allowed to reside or spread within our own communities.”

PHCN OFFICIAL RECEIEVES BEATING OF A LIFETIME FOR BILL DISTRIBUTION

A staff of the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC), Eunice Enyi, is currently recuperating in a private hospital after a 40-year-old man, Ozoigbo Ikenna, descended on her and gave her the beating of her life when she went to distribute electricity bills in the Oko-Oba area of Agege, Lagos State.

It was gathered that Ikenna, a resident of Williams Eliot Street in the area, was angry when Enyi and some other officials of the company went around distributing the bills and threatening to cut supplies to homes that refused to pay the estimated bill.

The residents were said to have questioned the power officials why they still brought the high bills when they had not been enjoying electricity for many months but Enyi was said to have told them they should not complain as they were not the ones responsible for the power outage.

The statement apparently got Ikenna angry and he pounced on her and assaulted her.
He was arraigned at an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court on two-count charges of assault and breach of peace to which he pleaded not guilty.
